Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of one of our Premier Communities in Ellijay, Georgia. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines.

Essential Functions:

The job of Maintenance Technician was established for the purpose of providing maintenance services as needed and/or assigned, assisting in a wide variety of maintenance activities, addressing immediate operational and/or safety concerns, assisting skilled trades, and ensuring that tools, materials, and vehicles are maintained in good working order and are available at the job site when needed. Not all duties assigned to every position are included, nor is it expected that all positions will be assigned every duty.

• Leading by example and being a role model for the standards and behaviors consistent with the core values and culture of the Company.
• Showing care and concern for our residents through timely follow-up and meticulous completion of service tickets.
• Handling all aspects of maintenance for the community.
• Preserving the value of the community by consistently executing on preventative maintenance programs.
• Preserving the beauty and safety of the community to include general upkeep, cleanliness, grounds maintenance, amenity maintenance.
• Monitor and direct scheduling of all maintenance personnel and vendors to company policies and procedures.
• Track inventory for repairs and maintenance.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and repair all mechanical systems, service requests, and reporting of potential liability concerns or safety hazards.
