InVision Human Services is seeking a General Maintenance Staff member to perform maintenance and repair activities at residential and commercial locations. The role involves troubleshooting and executing preventive maintenance, as well as coordinating with Facilities Supervisors and other team members.
A strong candidate will have prior experience in facilities maintenance, solid communication skills, and proficiency in tools and technologies used for the job. This work is crucial for maintaining health and safety standards within our facilities.
The General Maintenance Staff performs a variety of maintenance and repair activities including preventive maintenance for our residential and office site locations. The General Maintenance Staff will receive maintenance requests from Facilities Supervisors, Facilities Administrative Assistants, and the Maintenance Team Leader to support all facility activities. This position will be responsible for proactively troubleshooting, diagnosing, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance on residential home sites.
One year’s experience in residential or commercial facilities maintenance. Excellent verbal communication skills and computer proficiency with Microsoft Outlook (email) are required. High School diploma or GED required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear and frequently uses hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands/arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop, kneel or crouch, and may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. Employee must seek assistance or use appropriate devices when lifting or carrying items over 50 lbs.
