Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham, Inc. is seeking a maintenance assistant to support tradespeople across the hospital complex. The role includes drain and fixture repairs, drain cleaning, and carrying out preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Massachusetts driver's license, and a basic comfort level with computers and web-based systems. The position requires independence and adherence to safety and procedural guidelines.
Perform a variety of duties in and around the building of the hospital complex to assist the tradesmen in completing their tasks.
Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 50 pounds of force frequently. Work is physically demanding and requires extended periods of standing and/or moving.
$26.00 - $36.00 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
