Job Summary
Perform a variety of duties in and around the building of the hospital complex to assist the tradesmen in completing their tasks.

Essential Responsibilities
- Assists with repairing and replacing drains, fixtures, rodding, cleaning, etc. as assigned.
- Administers general repairs such as plunging toilets and drains, greasing fan motors.
- Works independently.
- Completes preventative maintenance tasks on time.
- Communicates issues to supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required. Vocational or Technical training preferred.
- MA Driver’s License.
Previous Experience Preferred
- 0-1 years related work experience required.
- Good driving record.
- Basic familiarity with computers; ability to navigate basic level within web-based applications.

Age Based Competencies
Employees must be competent to provide patient care to the following age groups: Neonatal (Birth to 6 months), Youth (6 months to 16 years), Young adult (16-30 years), Middle Age (30-60 years), Elderly (60+ years).
Physical Nature Of The Job
Heavy work: exerts up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 50 pounds frequently. Work is physically demanding and requires extended periods of standing and/or moving.
Pay Range
$26.00 - $36.00 per hour. Actual compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other applicable factors permissible by law.
