Job summary

MetroWest Medical Center maintains and repairs facilities to support patient care across its Framingham and Natick campuses. The role contributes to a safe, well-functioning hospital environment with a focus on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience with a contractor or in another trade.
• Graduate of trade or vocational school is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance tasks across the facility.
• Responds to hot/cold service calls.
• Handles basic repairs including lighting changes, minor equipment fixes, plumbing issues, and ceiling tile replacement.
• Conducts minor window and roof repairs and performs daily facility rounds to ensure a safe environment.
• Assists other trades when additional support is needed.
• Performs related duties as required.
