Summary

A General Maintenance will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas. Guest room and public area preventative maintenance are included. A General Maintenance Engineer II will also perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills.

Qualifications

Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and /or abilities. To perform this job successfully, the employee will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently with or without reasonable accommodation.

Essential

• Valid California Driver’s License.
• Working knowledge of power tools and related equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and electro-mechanical systems successfully.

Desirable

• 3 years previous maintenance experience in hotel, building or commercial building, or equivalent experience in a specialized trade.
• CPR/first aid qualified.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R

This position will pay $26.13/hour.
