Job summary

Miraval Berkshires Resort and Spa is seeking a General Maintenance Engineer to support daily operations at our Berkshire, MA property. This hourly, full-time role covers maintenance in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas, including pool care and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities include running basic repairs, performing routine system checks, and assisting with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing tasks.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three (3) years building maintenance experience is required, hotel experience preferred.
• Excellent customer skills are also required.
• Pool operating experience preferred.

A General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas. Guest room and public area entry-level preventative maintenance are included. A General Maintenance Engineer will also perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen,and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills. This position will also be responsible for care and maintenance of our pools and bodies of water, includingpool testing and maintaining range. HVAC, electrical, and plumbing experience a plus!
