Hyatt Hotels Corporation at Miraval Berkshires Resort and Spa seeks a General Maintenance Engineer to perform routine repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces and public areas. You will handle preventative maintenance tasks and assist with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work as needed. We value hands-on experience, strong customer service, and the ability to maintain pools and water features.

This full-time, hourly position offers steady hours from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Competenze

• Minimum of three years building maintenance experience; hotel experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pool operating experience preferred.

A General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas. Guest room and public area entry-level preventative maintenance are included. A General Maintenance Engineer will also perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen,and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills. This position will also be responsible for care and maintenance of our pools and bodies of water, includingpool testing and maintaining range. HVAC, electrical, and plumbing experience a plus!

Qualifications

• A minimum ofthree (3)years building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred.
