Job summary

Hyatt Regency Denver Convention Center is seeking a General Maintenance Engineer for the 2nd shift. You will focus on preventative maintenance and routine repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces and public areas, with opportunities to learn on mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment.

Strong communication and customer service skills are essential. The role requires walking/standing, lifting and the ability to handle a moderate weight.

Good communication and customer service skills are required.This position involves a considerable amount of walking and standing along with the ability to lift, push and carry a moderate amount of weight.A minimum of one-year of consistent, large-scale building or hotel maintenance experience is preferred, but other work experience and schooling that demonstrates a mechanical, electrical or technical affinity could be considered acceptable.

This position is posted for a second shift. Shift times are typically between 3:00pm -11:30pm, however could potentially be altered if mutually beneficial. Open availability is required, including weekends and holidays. The schedule is subject to change depending on business needs.

The starting rate for this position is $23.00 /hour.
