Job summary

Hyatt Regency Denver Convention Center is seeking a General Maintenance Engineer for the 2nd shift. You will focus on preventative maintenance and routine repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces and public areas, with opportunities to learn on mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment.

Strong communication and customer service skills are essential. The role requires walking/standing, lifting and the ability to handle a moderate weight.

Qualifications

• Good communication and customer service skills are required.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods and to lift, push and carry a moderate amount of weight.
• Minimum of one-year of consistent, large-scale building or hotel maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces and front of house areas.
• Be trained to repair on mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Work to ensure smooth operations and guest comfort.
