Job summary

Expotel Hospitality in New Orleans is seeking a General Maintenance technician to help keep our facilities safe, functional and welcoming for guests and staff. You will perform inspections, troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC and building systems, repair fixtures, and coordinate with vendors for major projects, while maintaining records and upholding safety standards.

High school diploma required; hospitality experience and CMMS familiarity are a plus; you should be able to work

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building structures, including walls, doors, windows, and flooring, to uphold safety and appearance standards.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or large-scale maintenance projects as needed.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, materials used, and equipment status to support operational planning and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance activities.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining equipment and facilities for special events or operational changes.
