ABM Industries is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of building repairs at our Moreno Valley facility. This day shift, Monday through Friday role offers $25-$30 per hour with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will repair and maintain doors, walls, flooring, fixtures, lighting, and perform preventative maintenance, respond to service requests, and help keep the facility safe, clean, and well‑maintained. Strong handyman skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years handyman, building maintenance, facilities maintenance, apartment maintenance, or general repair experience.
• Experience performing basic carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, door and hardware repairs.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance practices.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Identify and report larger repair needs requiring specialized trades.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with facility improvement projects and general upkeep activities.

The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of building repairs and maintenance tasks within a large industrial facility. This hands‑on role includes repairing and maintaining doors, walls, flooring, fixtures, lighting, and other building components, as well as completing preventative maintenance and responding to service requests. The ideal candidate has strong handyman skills, takes pride in their work, and helps ensure the facility remains safe, clean, and well‑maintained.
