Job summary

Outrigger Resorts & Hotels in Hawaii is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to uphold our aloha spirit while servicing and maintaining building systems and FF&E across the property.

The role requires trade or vocational training, 2–5 years in building maintenance, hotel industry experience preferred, and flexibility for varied shifts.

We offer base pay starting at $37.52 per hour, health insurance, 401K, paid holidays, and growth opportunities through training and development.

Qualifications

• Trade or Vocational School graduate desired.
• 2-5 years of work experience in building maintenance is required.
• Work experience within the hotel industry is preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, A/C refrigeration, landscaping depending on needs is desirable.

Job Duties

Exemplifies the image of “Aloha” while assisting guests in accordance with Outrigger policies and procedures. Installs, repairs, services, inspects, tests and maintains furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), facilities and/or the following systems; life safety, heating, cooling, plumbing, ventilation, water, electrical and mechanical.

Trade or Vocation School graduate desired. 2-5 years of work experience in building maintenance is required. Work experience within the hotel industry is preferred. Working knowledge of one or more trades desired (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, A/C refrigeration, landscaping) depending on the individual property needs.

Must be able to work flexible days and shifts and have a strong service oriented attitude and able to work well with others.
