Job summary

OUTRIGGER Resorts & Hotels in Hawaii is seeking a maintenance supervisor for night shift, responsible for FF&E and facilities upkeep across hotel properties. The role includes supervising on-duty staff and handling room-call support as needed.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in hotel maintenance, a vocational background, and working knowledge of at least one trade (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, HVAC, landscaping). Benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Trade or Vocational School graduate required.
• 2–5 years of maintenance experience in hotels.
• Experience in hotel maintenance preferred.
• Working knowledge of one or more trades (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, A/C refrigeration, landscaping) depending on property needs.

Job Duties

• Installs, repairs, services, inspects, tests and maintains furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), facilities and/or the following systems; life safety, heating, cooling, plumbing, ventilation, water, electrical and mechanical.
• Will act as the supervisor on duty during the night shifts and assist with room calls as needed.

Requirements

• Trade or Vocation School graduate desired.
• 2-5 years of work experience in building maintenance is required.
• Work experience within the hotel industry is preferred.
• Working knowledge of one or more trades desired (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, A/C refrigeration, landscaping) depending on the individual property needs.
