Lockheed Martin in Palmdale is seeking an experienced licensed plumber to maintain and repair plant machinery and facilities. You will determine methods and sequence of operations for repairs, adhere to codes and insurance requirements, and work from heights using boom vehicles when needed.
Requirements include 3 years of industrial/commercial plumbing experience, expertise with water distribution and steam systems, finishing tasks such as wall repairs and painting, and the ability to work
Determines methods and sequence of operations required to maintain and repair plant machinery and equipment as required. Exercises a complete knowledge of plant maintenance theory, practice, and procedure relevant to the repair of facilities structures and support equipment. Determines methods and sequence of operations required to properly execute repair orders. Must adhere to applicable codes, laws, and insurance carrier requirements. Individual must be capable of working independently and able to work at various heights, operate and work from moving and/or telescoping boom vehicles and equipment as required, and clean and store equipment, tools, safety devices, protective clothing, etc.
