Boise Cascade is seeking a General Line Product Manager to drive purchasing, pricing, and go-to-market strategies for our general line products across warehouses and customer sales. You will develop sales plans, manage inventory, margins, and promotions, and present to dealers and builders.

You will collaborate with location management, maintain supplier relationships, and stay current on product knowledge and market opportunities to maximize profitability.

Qualifications

• College Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in building products industry or general line sales is preferred.
• Proficiency with computer software applications used for job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Purchase, price, and market general line products for warehouse and customer sales.
• Develop and implement sales strategies, promotions, and new products.
• Monitor inventory levels, turnover, and margins to maximize profitability.
• Assist operations in warehousing assigned products and coordinate with location management.
• Make dealer and builder presentations and maintain supplier relationships.
