Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a partner-level General Liability attorney in Short Hills, New Jersey to lead and grow a busy practice unit within a leading law firm.

You will manage a team, supervise complex litigation from inception through trial, expand the client base, and coordinate with business development to pursue new opportunities, and contribute to firm-wide growth initiatives.

A track record of high performance, mentorship, and strategic leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey and in good standing.
• 6+ years of General Liability litigation experience with Partner-level responsibility.
• Established or developing book of business with drive to expand client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a General Liability practice unit, overseeing caseload distribution and team performance.
• Handle complex General Liability matters from inception through resolution, including depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Develop and execute case strategies while maintaining and growing a book of business.
• Collaborate with practice group leaders to align goals with broader firm strategy.
• Partner with the Business Development and Marketing team to service existing clients and pursue new opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
