Hamilton Miller & Birthisel LLP is seeking a General Liability Paralegal to support defense litigation across multiple jurisdictions. The role focuses on discovery management, subpoenas, medical record review, and fact-gathering with strong organizational skills.

The ideal candidate will work independently within established procedures, coordinate with providers, vendors, and experts, and contribute to efficient case workflows while maintaining high professional standards.

Formación

• 3+ years paralegal experience in General Liability defense.
• Trial-prep exposure and network of experts/providers.
• Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, serve, and respond to discovery and subpoenas; track deadlines.
• Intake, organize, and summarize records; create medical chronologies.
• Identify treating/referring providers; coordinate IMEs and experts.
• Conduct legal research; draft pleadings, subpoenas duces tecum, and summaries.
• Manage calendars; schedule depositions, hearings, and related travel.
• E-file in state and federal courts; coordinate court reporters and interpreters.
