Qualifications

• Experience in General Liability defense litigation.
• JD from an ABA-accredited university.
• Bar admission in Illinois and ability to be admitted in all Federal District Courts in Florida.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide client communication and advice regarding litigation risks, outcomes, legal rights, and obligations.
• Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for case presentation.
• Draft and perform legal review and analysis, and advise on issues within the area of law practiced.
• Prepare for and attend mediations and hearings as required.
• Interact with clients and resolve problems related to case hearings.
• Implement best practices and standards in handling clients and their cases.
• Prepare discovery for opposing parties, and respond to discovery from opposing parties.
• Develop new clients and maintain relationships with existing clients.
• Meet requirements for designated minimum billable time (hours/receivables).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
