Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. (QPWB) is seeking licensed attorneys in Florida with 1–4 years of General Liability defense experience. The role defends general liability matters, auto and premises liability, and professional lines including medical malpractice and long-term care.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice in Florida and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and summarize relevant findings for defense strategies.
• Draft motions and attend hearings to advocate for clients in court.
• Prepare clients for depositions and attend depositions as needed.
• Draft initial, interim, pre-trial, and appellate reports and coordinate with defense teams.
• Respond to discovery requests and file discovery-related motions.
• Attend court appearances to advance defense strategies and outcomes.
• Take and defend fact and expert witness depositions.

General Liability Practice Group

At QPWB, our General Liability Practice Group is composed of seasoned attorneys dedicated to assisting a diverse range of clients, including employers, carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insureds, in the defense of general liability actions. From initial claims handling through mediation, arbitration, trial, and appeal, we provide comprehensive legal representation tailored to the unique needs of each client. As an Attorney specializing in general liability, your role will involve:

• Reviewing and preparing summaries of medical records to effectively advocate for clients.
• Drafting motions and attending hearings to represent clients in court.
• Preparing clients for depositions and attending depositions as needed.
• Drafting initial reports, interim reports, pre-trial reports, trials, and appellate activity.
• Responding to discovery requests and drafting discovery-related motions.
• Regularly attending court appearances to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
• Taking and defending depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses.
