Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a General Liability Associate to join their team in Alpharetta, GA. The successful candidate will conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and represent clients in court hearings and depositions.

The role requires a JD with GA license and 2-4 years of litigation experience, preferably in General Liability Defense, and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, and Excel. Strong teamwork and time management are essential.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and an active license in good standing in Georgia.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in litigation (judicial clerks considered).
• Experience in General Liability Defense work preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
• Must be self-motivated, independent thinker with excellent time management, strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team member in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
• Maintain billable hours as necessary.
• Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision.
• Assist in the representation of clients in motion practice, conferences, mediations, and trial when necessary.
