Job summary

CWA Recruiting is seeking a claims professional in New York to oversee active general liability claims for clients. You will manage third-party admin activities and coordinate relationships among the employer, insurer, and defense counsel for ongoing matters.

Responsibilities include reviewing adjuster work, supervising investigations, and evaluating reserves, coverage, and damages. You'll prepare client summaries and strategic recommendations while supporting subrogation efforts and overlapping

Qualifications

• Experience handling general liability or bodily injury claims across carrier/TPA/broker/self-insured.
• Familiarity with construction-related liabilities and NY Labor Laws 200/240/241(6).
• Strong written and verbal communication for summaries and client reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee active claims for clients and supervise adjusters on general liability claims.
• Coordinate investigations, surveillance, and litigation management with vendors.
• Track reserves, report trends, and advise on coverage and damages.
• Prepare client summaries and strategic recommendations; identify subrogation opportunities.
• Collaborate with workers' compensation team to address overlapping exposures.
