Cottingham & Butler Claims Services in Nashville, TN, is seeking a General Liability Claims Adjuster with construction defect exposure to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve claims. You will manage a caseload, collaborate with insureds, claimants, attorneys, contractors, and clients to achieve fair outcomes.

This 100% remote role includes onboarding and ongoing training, with opportunities to develop specialized expertise in General Liability and Construction Defect claims.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience handling General Liability claims; construction defect experience preferred.
• Familiarity with state-specific claims handling regulations and licensing requirements.
• Ability to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve liability claims.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Effective negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management systems.
