Job summary
Wilson Elser is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney in New York with 3+ years of litigation experience. Defense of complex matters in general liability, premises liability, personal injury, tort claims, and related areas will be handled in a high-performing team.

Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school and admission to practice in New York
- 3–8 years of litigation experience including general liability, personal injury, premises liability, and insurance defense
- Experience in trucking-related litigation, construction/labor law, and/or transportation matters is highly preferred
- Understanding of NY Construction Law (Labor Law §§200, 240, 241) and OSHA proceedings is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Legal project management experience is helpful
Responsibilities
- Independently manage a litigation caseload from start to finish
- Work closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects
- Regular court appearances and depositions
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports
