Job summary

Cole, Scott, & Kissane in Florida seeks a driven attorney to join our General Liability practice, defending businesses and individuals in a broad range of tort matters including premises and products liability. You will manage depositions, motions, hearings, and trials while advising clients and preparing pleadings.

The ideal candidate is a Florida Bar member with strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills; prior litigation experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Florida Bar member.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Prior litigation experience preferred, but not required.

• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials
• Perform legal research and provide analysis of case law
• Prepare pleadings and correspondence
• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
• Provide exemplary legal counsel to clients
