Job summary

Cole, Scott & Kissane in Florida seeks a driven attorney to join our General Liability practice. The attorney will defend businesses and individuals across a broad range of tort matters, including premises and products liability.

Responsibilities include taking and defending depositions, drafting dispositive motions, attending hearings, mediations and trials, performing legal research, preparing pleadings, and communicating with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Prior litigation experience preferred, but not required.
