Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced civil defense litigation attorney to join our regional defense team in a hybrid role with remote flexibility. You will manage a litigation caseload from start to finish and represent clients in a range of civil defense matters.

Collaboration with partners and other attorneys is essential. The position offers a salary range of $125,000 to $175,000 per year, full benefits including 401K, PTO, medical, dental, and vision, with a hybrid remote work arrangement.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the state bar.
• At least 2 years of civil defense litigation experience.
• Experience in trial, discovery, depositions, legal research, and drafting motions.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Managing a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end.
• Representing clients in a wide range of civil defense litigation claims.

• Regularly handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials.
• Conducting extensive legal research and analysis.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, memorandums, briefs, and other court documents.

• 5. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• 6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
