The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance defense, general liability, and commercial litigation, with the ability to handle a diverse caseload from inception to resolution.

Qualifications

• JD required with strong academic credentials.
• Admitted to Virginia Bar.
• Experience in general liability or insurance defense litigation.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in general liability matters including personal injury, property damage, and premises liability.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and respond to opposing counsel's motions.
• Conduct depositions and participate in pre-trial proceedings.
• Manage a caseload from inception to resolution.
• Advise clients on risk management and liability exposure.
• Negotiate settlements and assist with trial preparation.
• Collaborate with partners, senior associates and staff.
• Stay current on developments in general liability and insurance defense.
