Siemens Energy in Orlando seeks an Accounting Team Lead – General Ledger & Closing to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting for North America. You will partner with regional stakeholders, auditors, and finance teams to drive standardization and digital transformation across accounting processes.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with CPA preferred.
• Significant experience in General Ledger, close, and financial reporting.
• Strong IFRS, Local GAAP, and internal controls knowledge.
• Experience with auditors, senior management, and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Power BI/analytics is a plus.
• Ability to lead automation and digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-, quarter-, and year-end close across NA entities.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
• Strengthen documentation, controls, and knowledge transfer.
• Identify standardization opportunities and improve reporting quality.
• Lead automation and digital transformation in GL and close.
• Collaborate with Operations, Tax, Treasury, and other Finance teams.
