Catalyst Brands in Salt Lake City is seeking an Accounting Analyst - General Ledger to join our Finance Shared Services team. You will own the monthly close, prepare journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations in a collaborative corporate environment.

You will analyze discrepancies, drive process improvements with IT, and partner with Finance, Tax, Audit, and Merchandising to deliver accurate reporting and robust metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 1–3 years of professional accounting or corporate finance experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and basic accounting procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) required.

Responsabilités

• Own day-to-day accounting close, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain key accounting controls to ensure policy compliance.
• Analyze discrepancies, conduct root-cause analysis, and elevate issues to management.
• Lead accounting projects to reduce costs and streamline workflows; partner with IT on system changes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Audit, FP&A, Merchandising, and Supply Chain.
• Compile data for forecasting and develop operational performance metrics.
