Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• At least two-five years general ledger accounting experience.
• Strong Excel and database skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels throughout the organization.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Balance sheet accounts reconciliation as primary focus.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in maintaining all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems, including setting up new users to the accounting system and Concur.
• Assist with monthly balance sheet and P&L fluctuations analysis.
• Assist in updating fixed assets schedule and depreciation expense.
• Perform general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, typing, and mailing.
• Assists with preparation of 1099s as needed.
• Assists with special accounting projects as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and other work-related events as needed; and
• Other duties may be assigned or may be modified as business needs dictate.
