The role supports month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and policy adherence. Requires a Bachelor's in accounting or related field, 6 months of experience, and strong Excel skills, with flexibility for occasional nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or accounting or related field required.
• At least 6 months of accounting experience, preferably in luxury resort.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Professional discretion and judgment; ability to analyze data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional interactions.

Responsibilities

• Generate accurate and timely monthly financial statements and assist in month-end close.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain balance sheet schedules and ledgers.
• Prepare internal and external report packages.
• Maintain documentation and audit evidence for the department.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
• Adhere to deadlines and respond to requests efficiently.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and consistency across units.
• Assist with financial statement review and KPI analysis with other departments.
