Pacific Staffing in Sacramento, CA is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to maintain the general ledger, perform month-end close, and ensure GAAP compliance. This onsite role requires a bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including journal entries and month-end close.
• Process invoices, manage vendor statements, and support accounts payable/receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and related reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts, resolve discrepancies, and support audits and tax preparation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Maintain accurate payroll data and coordinate system updates with IT and payroll vendors.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Handle confidential financial and payroll information with discretion.

This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing general accounting tasks, supporting month-end close, and ensuring the integrity of financial information. The GL Accountant works closely with the accounting team to prepare financial statements, support accounts payable and receivable, assist with audits and tax preparation, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
