  • Assist with monthly balance sheet and P&L fluctuations analysis.
  • Assist in updating fixed assets schedule and depreciation expense.
  • Perform general clerical duties including filing, photocopying, faxing, typing, and mailing.
  • Assists with preparation of 1099s as needed.
  • Attends meetings, trainings, and other work-related events.

JOB SUMMARY

Performs a wide range of accounting and administrative duties to support the accounting department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs a combination, but not necessarily all, of the following duties:

  • Balance sheet accounts reconciliation as primary focus.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Assist in maintaining all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems, including setting up new users to the accounting system and Concur
  • Assist with monthly balance sheet and P&L fluctuations analysis
  • Assist in updating fixed assets schedule and depreciation expense
  • Perform general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, typing, and mailing
  • Assists with preparation of 1099s as needed.
  • Assists with special accounting projects as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and other work-related events as needed; and
  • Other duties may be assigned or may be modified as business needs dictate.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Strong accounting background.
  • At least two-five years general ledger accounting experience is required
  • Strong Excel and database skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Team player and have ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization
  • Timeliness - Complete tasks within the required timeframe.
  • Detail-oriented – Pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
  • Accuracy – Perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Honesty/Integrity – Be truthful and be seen as crediblein the workplace.
  • Microsoft Dynamics financial application, Business Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation experience helpful
