Augment is hiring General Laborers for short-term waste audit and special project assignments at a Houston-area facility. The role involves hands-on waste sorting, material separation, and site cleanup to support environmental reporting and operational improvement.

You’ll work as part of a project team on outdoor or warehouse environments, follow safety protocols, and may need to pass a background check and drug screening. Weekly pay is offered for project-based work.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in general labor, warehouse, sanitation, or recycling is helpful—but not required.
• Comfortable with physical, hands-on work including bending, standing, and sorting for extended periods.
• Willing to work in outdoor or warehouse environments and wear provided PPE.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Sort and categorize waste materials for audits.
• Separate items into specific categories (plastics, cardboard, organics, metals, contamination).
• Assist with general labor tasks such as loading/unloading bins, cleaning work areas, and organizing materials.
• Use PPE and follow safety protocols throughout the assignment.
• Support site leads with other project-related duties as assigned.

These are temporary, project-based roles—ideal for individuals looking to earn fast, honest pay through short-term labor work.

You’ll assist with detailed waste sorting, material separation, and general site cleanup as part of environmental reporting and operational improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Do

As part of a project team, you’ll help sort and categorize waste materials for audits, support cleanup and movement of debris, and follow safety procedures to ensure clean and efficient project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort through waste and recyclable materials by hand for audit and reporting purposes.
• Separate items into specific categories (e.g., plastics, cardboard, organics, metals, contamination).
• Assist with general labor tasks such as loading/unloading bins, cleaning work areas, and organizing materials.
• Use PPE (gloves, safety glasses, masks) and follow strict safety protocols throughout the assignment.
• Support site leads with any other project-related duties as assigned.
• Report any safety concerns or irregularities to supervisors immediately.
