Job summary

Augment Human Resource Services seeks reliable General Laborers for upcoming waste audit and special project assignments at one of our partner waste and recycling facilities in Inver Grove Heights, MN. These temporary roles offer fast-pay and a chance to gain experience in environmental services and audits.

You'll sort waste, separate recyclables, and perform site cleanup while following safety protocols and using PPE. Background check and drug screening required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in general labor, warehouse, sanitation, or recycling is helpful—but not required.
• Comfortable with physical, hands-on work including bending, lifting, standing, and sorting for extended periods.
• Willing to work in outdoor or warehouse environments and wear provided PPE.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Sort through waste and recyclable materials by hand for audit and reporting purposes.
• Separate items into specific categories (e.g., plastics, cardboard, organics, metals, contamination).
• Assist with general labor tasks such as loading/unloading bins, cleaning work areas, and organizing materials.
• Use PPE (gloves, safety glasses, masks) and follow strict safety protocols throughout the assignment.
• Support site leads with any other project-related duties as assigned.
• Report any safety concerns or irregularities to supervisors immediately.
