Creative Management Technology, Inc. is hiring a dependable General Laborer for our roadway sign shop in Sanford, FL, with work across Sanford, Brevard, Volusia, and Flagler counties.

This full-time position offers hands-on learning, a chance to grow into skilled sign fabrication, and steady work on state and local roadway projects. You will cut, prep, drill, assemble, and apply reflective materials to signs, operate hand and power tools under supervision, and maintain safety and quality

Responsibilities

• Cut, prep, drill and assemble aluminum sign blanks, posts, and hardware.
• Clean and prep sign surfaces before sheeting is applied.

• Load, unload, stage and stack finished signs, posts, and materials.
• Use basic hand and power tools under supervision.
• Keep shop floor and tools clean, organized and safe.
• Drive signs, materials or equipment to job sites as needed.

JOB TITLE: General Laborer – Roadway Sign Manufacturing

STATUS: FULL-TIME Monday – Friday, including evenings and weekends

LOCATION: Sanford, Brevard, Volusia, and Flagler Counties

About the Role

We're hiring a dependable General Laborer for our roadway sign shop. You'll help build the traffic and highway signs that keep drivers safe. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes to stay busy, pays attention to detail, and wants to learn a trade.

What You'll Do

Help cut, prep, drill and assemble aluminum sign blanks, posts, and hardware

Clean and prep sign surfaces before sheeting is applied

Help apply reflective sheeting, film and lettering, and make sure each sign meets quality standards

Load, unload, stage and stack finished signs, posts, and materials

Use basic hand and power tools, such as drills, rivet guns, saws, grinders, and measuring tools, under supervision

Keep the shop floor, workstations, and tools clean, organized, and safe

Drive signs, materials or equipment to job sites or other locations as needed

Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

Requirements

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen

Basic knowledge of hand and power tools in a shop environment

Able to read a tape measure and follow simple layouts or work orders

Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, bend, and work on your feet for long periods

Reliable, on time, detail-oriented and willing to learn

Able to follow directions and work safely around equipment

Preferred

Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse, construction, or maintenance work

$16–$19 per hour, based on experience
