What You’ll Do:

1. Promote Safety: Prioritize safety in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards, actively ensuring safety for yourself and others at all times.
2. Perform Physical Activities: Assist with plant operations, including using hand tools, cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials.
3. Repair and Maintain Equipment: Help service, repair, and adjust various equipment throughout the plant.
4. Inspect Equipment and Structures: Conduct daily inspections and maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations.
5. Operate Vehicles and Equipment: Operate heavy construction equipment or similar machinery to support plant operations.
6. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills You’ll Need:

• Experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production practices is preferred.
• Flexibility to work overtime, extended hours, and outside in all weather conditions, tolerating loud noises.
• Some knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.

Compensation: The hourly range for this role is $22.21 - $26.32, not including bonuses or equity. Compensation is based on skillset, experience, job scope, and market data.
