Job Description - General Laborer - Puddledock Quarry (2500016M)

What You’ll Do:

• Promote Safety: In accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards, take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times.
• Perform General Physical Activities: Assist with plant operations, including using hand tools, cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials.
• Repair and Maintain Equipment: Help service, repair, and adjust various equipment throughout the plant.
• Inspect Equipment and Structures: Conduct daily inspections and maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations.
• Operate Vehicles and Equipment: Operate heavy construction equipment or similar machinery to support plant operations.
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills You’ll Need:

• Experience: Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of Best Practices: Understanding of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production principles is preferred.
• Flexibility: Ability to work overtime, extended hours, outside in all weather conditions, and tolerate loud noises.
• Mechanical Skills: Some knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.

Hourly Range: $22.21 - $26.32 per hour, not including bonuses or equity. Compensation considers skills, experience, job scope, and market data.
