What You'll Do:

1. Promote Safety: In accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards, take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times.
2. Perform General Physical Activities: Assist with the operation of the plant, including using hand tools, cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials.
3. Repair and Maintain Equipment: Support co-workers in servicing, repairing, and adjusting various pieces of equipment throughout the plant.
4. Inspect Equipment and Structures: Conduct daily inspections and maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations that maximize production and minimize interruptions.
5. Operate Vehicles and Equipment: Operate heavy construction equipment or similar machinery to assist with plant operations.
6. Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills You'll Need:

• Experience: Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of Best Practices: Knowledge of general principles and practices of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production is preferred.
• Flexibility: Ability to work overtime and extended hours depending on demands, tolerate outdoor weather conditions, and exposure to loud noises.
• Mechanical Skills: Some knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.

Hourly Range: $22.21 - $26.32, excluding bonuses or equity. Compensation depends on skills, experience, and market data.
