Job summary

Smurfit WestRock in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking a General Laborer for its Graphics Solutions facility. You will support production by inspecting rolls, performing quality checks, and maintaining a safe, clean work area.

The role requires the ability to work 12-hour shifts, days or nights, with willingness to assist across shifts and contribute to continuous improvement. Training will be provided and safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• Experience operating P.I.T. and overhead cranes.
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts (days and/or nights).
• Good attendance and reliability.
• Willing to cover other shifts as needed.
• Able to perform all essential functions with/without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rolls and perform required quality checks.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Assist team in reducing plant waste by monitoring web and applying corrections as needed.
• Perform pre-make ready, make ready, setups and related activities.
• Inspect printing decks for quality and productivity.
• Stage cutdown roll stock and cylinders per production schedule.
• Collaborate with management, quality and operators and contribute ideas for improvement.
• Data entry into Kiwi system and printing tickets as needed.
• Operate Zamboni, forklift and clamp trucks with daily inspections.
• Participate in safety activities and keep Safety a priority.
