You will operate cleaning equipment, contribute to grounds upkeep, and support safety policies daily. The position requires basic math, tape-measure reading, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with the potential for forklift/scissor lift certification.

Qualifications

• The ability to run a floor sweeper.
• The ability to calculate simple mathematics.
• The ability to read a tape measure.
• The ability to recognize and solve practical problems or issues.
• The ability to work in a team environment with a diverse group of people.
• The ability to pay attention to detail and follow work instructions.
• The ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds; comfortable with PPE and safety rules.
• Must become Valmont trained and certified in forklift and scissor lift operation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces, paint building interiors and power wash building exteriors.
• Operate/Use cleaning machinery and equipment in production areas.
• Perform miscellaneous seasonal grounds maintenance including snow/ice removal, planting and general grounds upkeep.
• Assist Maintenance Department personnel with their essential duties.
• Other duties as required and/or assigned
