Job summary

Camel City Restoration LLC in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a full-time Emergency Response Technician to join our 24/7 team. You will respond to emergency water, fire, and mold damage calls and help with mitigation.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, safety, and clear communication with homeowners, managers, and insurers. We provide training, on-the-job certification opportunities, and competitive pay with overtime and on-call incentives.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration or construction is a plus but not required; training is provided.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a hands-on role.
• On-call rotation for evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

• Respond to emergency water, fire, and mold damage calls day or night.
• Set up drying equipment, remove affected materials, and perform demolition as needed.
• Document conditions with photos, moisture readings, and notes using CompanyCam or similar software.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners, property managers, insurance adjusters, and team members.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles to company standards.
• Follow all IICRC, OSHA, and company safety protocols.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: Previous restoration, construction, or related trade experience is a plus but not required - we provide training.
• Skills: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and work in confined or damp spaces.
• Availability: On-call rotation for evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
