Job summary

Waste Recovery Systems in Michigan is hiring a full-time General Laborer to join our field team. The role focuses on safety, learning daily, and contributing to project success with a positive attitude.

You will operate basic tools, assist with setup, and help maintain clean job sites while respecting schedules. A valid MI Chauffeur’s license and clean driving record are required. Emergency on-call rotations and benefits are included, with growth opportunities in a safety-conscious company.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid MI Chauffeur’s License.
• Clean driving record for last 5 years.
• Able to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work overtime and be on-call monthly.
• Prior construction/environmental/excavating experience preferred.
• Strong communication and reliability required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of tools and equipment.
• Ensure proper PPE is worn during work.
• Perform setup and calibration procedures for equipment and accessories.
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Prepare job sites as directed.
• Maintain comprehensive service documentation.
• Provide assistance to operators, team members, contractors and customers as needed.
• Clear debris and hazards from work areas.
• Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned and stored properly.
