Job summary

GFL Environmental Services is seeking a hardworking field laborer to safely complete site preparation tasks across diverse projects. You will work with PPE, perform power washing, digging, and confined-space activities while following safety protocols.

Applicants should have experience around heavy equipment, a valid drivers license, and be able to pass drug and background screenings. The role requires physical stamina and on-site work across multiple sites in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Experience working around heavy equipment.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background screening.
• Comfort with field environments and physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare sites, power washing etc., digging, sweeping, and entering confined spaces.
• Identify hazards and ensure safety of personnel and equipment; use PPE properly.
• Operate within varied project conditions and extreme environments while maintaining safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned by site supervisor or management.
