Are you motivated and eager to grow your career in refrigeration? Hussmann’s team of technicians maintains, diagnoses, and repairs HVAC/R systems in supermarkets, convenience stores, and cold storage facilities.

Responsibilities

1. Assist with the shipping and receiving of materials, staging, and inventory.
2. Examine and test machinery, equipment, and parts for defects to ensure proper functioning.
3. Assist with the assembly of gang boxes and project materials.
4. Assist with positioning vehicles, machinery, and equipment for assembly, installation, or service.
5. Assist in maintaining physical structures and offices through general work.
6. Visit job sites as needed to deliver and exchange parts, tools, or equipment.
7. Help move or set up equipment and cases on job sites as required.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or GED

Experience: Zero years required

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record per Fleet Policy.
• Physical ability to walk distances, crouch, climb ladders, work at heights, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, highly motivated.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Availability to work nights and/or weekends.
• Strong leadership and business acumen.
• Decision-making and paperwork skills.
• Basic refrigeration knowledge or familiarity with commercial refrigeration and HVAC preferred.
