Job description

Salary/Wage: $16.00- $19.00 (based on experience, skill level, and work ethic)

Place of Work: Company based in Columbia. Work occurs at various jobsites around middle TN.

Position Status: 40 or more hrs/week

Basic Job Description: Assist masons by prepping for the work, transferring materials, cleaning work areas and caring for equipment used in the process.

Duties/Qualifications:

1. Mix mortar and grout, manually or using machines, according to standard formulas.
2. Erect scaffolding or other installation structures.
3. Transport materials, tools, or machines to installation sites, manually or using conveyance equipment.
4. Provide assistance in the preparation, installation, repair, or rebuilding of block, brick, or stone surfaces.
5. Assist skilled construction or extraction personnel.
6. Locate and supply materials to masons for installation.
7. Arrange or store materials, machines, tools, or equipment.
8. Clean installation surfaces, equipment, tools, work sites, or storage areas.
9. Clean surfaces in preparation for work activities.
