Job summary

Radius Recycling is seeking a General Laborer I to join the production team. You will handle vehicles, aid in processing core and scrap products, and help customers by preparing parts for sale in a safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities include extracting fluids and components, dismantling engines, operating tire machinery, and maintaining environmental compliance. A variable schedule, outdoor work, and adherence to PPE requirements are expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written safety messages and hazard communications.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely within a salvage yard to support production goals.
• Safely remove fluids, batteries and waste materials per procedures.
• Position vehicles for customer access and prepare for shipment or sale.
• Dismantle engines and components and harvest materials according to procedures.
• Operate tire machinery and sort tires for shipment.
• Assist customers courteously and manage packing and regulatory logs.
