Job summary

Radius Recycling is seeking a General Laborer I to join our outdoor auto salvage yard team in Arlington, WA. You will support production, handle vehicles safely, and enable customers to access parts while complying with environmental and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Follow verbal and written safety instructions and hazard communications.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to work in various outdoor weather conditions for full shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times and promote the Pick-n-Pull Safety Culture.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain professionalism for the team.
• Safely remove fluids, batteries, and waste materials following procedures.
• Extract fluids and components per prescribed procedures.
• Position vehicles for customer access to sellable parts and reset area afterwards.
• Loosen mounts, remove tires and core items per procedures.
• Remove heater cores, copper wire, and designated materials; maintain crush pad area.
• Dismantle engines/transmissions; harvest wire and sorts materials.
• Operate tire machine to separate tires and prepare rims for shipment.
• Collect core materials, address safety hazards, and assist customers as needed.
• Prepare shipment materials, complete logs, inspect and maintain equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
