Job summary

Vonachen Group is seeking a General Laborer to support our facility maintenance operations in Iowa. The role involves operating power equipment, performing cleaning and maintenance tasks, and ensuring high levels of customer service.

Responsibilities include running floor scrubbers, forklift and Gator operations, use of hand tools, and assisting with various maintenance duties. Flexible shifts and daily pay options are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, either orally or in writing.
• Must follow all health and safety requirements.
• Customer-oriented and friendly.

Responsibilities

• Run a sweeper/scrubber to clean factory floors.
• Safely operate a forklift.
• Operate industrial powered vehicles (e.g., golf carts or Gators).
• Operate aerial lifts to perform tasks above safe reach of a ladder (e.g., scissor lift, articulating lift).
• Operate, pneumatic, battery powered and electric hand tools.
• Assist in the performance of building/equipment maintenance duties (e.g., recycling, painting, filter changes, fabrication machinery support, and coolant services).
• Perform grounds maintenance services (e.g., landscaping and snow removal).
• Maintain a safe work environment following all required safety regulations and protocols.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
